UCL School of Management

Elizabet Ciochina

Biography

Elizabet is currently pursuing the MSc Entrepreneurship programme and is expected to graduate in September 2025. Originally from Moldova, she moved to London at the age of twelve.

One of the highlights of her time at the UCL School of Management has been working on a business project that involved coaching their peers as part of a group of three. This experience not only strengthened my ability to mentor and collaborate effectively but also deepened my understanding of leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking in a team environment. Looking ahead, she aspires to launch her own venture or contribute to the growth of innovative startups, particularly those that align with her interest in behavioural science and technology, exploring how businesses can leverage psychological insights to enhance consumer engagement and decision-making.

Outside of her studies, Elizabet is actively involved in various extracurricular activities at UCL, including the Private Equity, Chess, and Surgery societies, and also enjoys reading about business and social psychology, and attending startup events run by the UCL School of Management. She has a deep appreciation for travel and cultural experience, which have shaped her perspective on global entrepreneurship.
